Booking Fees / Rescheduling / Cancellations / Tardiness
A $75 nonrefundable booking fee is required upfront to reserve your date. Your booking will be confirmed when the $75 deposit is received. The remaining payment will be due on the day of the shoot. This can be paid through either Venmo, cash, or check.
If you choose to add additional services, such as travel or additional edits, the final invoice will be adjusted accordingly.
In the event of an emergency, extreme weather, or equipment failure within 7 days or less from the shoot, the shoot can be rescheduled without penalty.
If you fail to show up for the shoot without communication, you’re forfeiting your booking fee and you’re still responsible for the final payment.
Please arrive to the photoshoot on time. If you’re running late, please call me. A lot of time and effort goes into scheduling and planning a session, and my time is as valuable as yours. Please understand I’m unable to accommodate for lost time. If you’re more than 30 minutes late without contacting me, you will forfeit your booking fee and I have the right to cancel the session. If I’m running late, I will communicate that with you and your session will not be affected.
What geographical areas do you serve?
As a photographer, I serve the Phoenix, Scottsdale, Paradise Valley, Glendale, Tempe, and Mesa area. Of course, I’m available for photoshoots outside of these areas, but it may require an additional travel fee.
I don't usually get my picture taken. Do you have any advice or tips?
Yes! Here are some basic tips for your photoshoot: Avoid clothing with busy patterns, logos, or brand names. For the women who don't like to wear makeup, I suggest that you wear more makeup than you typically wear on a daily basis. People tend to appear more washed out in photos, especially if we add lighting. If you're not comfortable doing your own makeup, I highly recommend hiring a makeup artist. If you have a specific question, please feel free to ask me.
When will I get my photos? After the shoot, expect to receive your proofs within 7-10 business days. After you have a chance to review your photos and pick your favorites, the high-resolution edited files will be delivered within 1-2 weeks from that date.
If you need the final edited photos before the two-week deadline, that must be communicated to me prior to booking a session. Based on the timeline requested, a rush fee may apply.
How will I get my final images? Final edited images will be sent via WeTransfer. I cannot be responsible for any lost images after thirty days from the shoot.
Can I share my photos on social media? Of course you can, please do! You have the right to post, download, print, and share all final edited photos. You can use the final edits for any personal use. However, you cannot sell final images in any way because as the photographer I own the copyright to the final images.
Do you edit the photos? I do use editing software. My philosophy on editing photos is that I like to bring out the best version of my client. I never use my editing skills to make a person look unrecognizable. I understand, that we all have things about ourselves that we might want to change or hide. If there is something in particular you want me to be aware of please let me know before the photoshoot. I always do my best to accommodate, but please be aware that I will not do any extreme edits that will greatly change a person’s own beauty.
